Here is a collection of clips from some of my favorite v. o. projects.
I am a Chicago based actor, voiceover, fight choreographer, martial artist, and trade show presenter, as well as a voiceover coach and demo director. I am a proud member of SAG-AFTRA and an Actor's Equity membership candidate. My work has been seen or heard, on stages across the Chicagoland area, in commercials, television, film, corporate video and live productions. I am represented for On-Camera/ Live Theatrical by Paonessa Talent, and for Voice Over by Grossman and Jack Talent.
I act for screen, voiceover, and stage. I am also available for corporate presenting, fight choreography, and v.o. coaching. Please see my resumé for the details of my experience and skills.
Only 3 performances left of this "Marvel-ous" production. A few tickets still available.
"What makes this production really hum, however, are the superior performances put in by the two lead actors. Brian Plocharczyk is especially impressive as Jack Kirby, a creative genius who positively seethes over not being given enough credit for his endeavors."
-Noel Schecter Splash magazine
"Brian Plocharczyk packs a punch as Jack Kirby, portraying the King with an intense presence and passion that belie a deeper gratitude for his often tenuous partnership with Lee. Even with the character’s rough edges, smoking a cigar and fighting for credit and possession of his work, Plocharczyk makes Kirby impossible not to root for and deftly communicates his love for the opportunity to do what he loves—create art."
- Josh Flanders The Reader
"As Kirby, Brian Plocharczyk gives a crackling, expressive performance. He is clearly a victim of his own passion, who doesn’t see his own limitations. Kirby finally falls like Shakespeare’s Macbeth, when his “vaulting ambition” makes him bite off more artistic responsibility than he can handle as a creator. I hope gets him nominated for a Joseph Jefferson award."
-Jeffery Lyle Segal Time Square Chronicle
"The cast is led by two “Marvel”-ously talented actors. Brian Plocharczyk powerfully portrays talented comic artist, Jack Kirby, bristling with authentic New York grit and gumption... Talented Bryan Breau plays Stan Lee,...Watching this likable nerd evolve from a groveling Stanley Lieber into a powerful enterprising StanLee is one of the joys of this production. "
- Colin Douglas Chicago Theatre Review
"Thankfully, these two legends are brought to life by performers capable of an emotional subtlety that emphasizes the flawed humanity that drives their creative genius in the first place. As a character, Kirby is primarily driven by insecurity and perceived slights against him that culminate in angry outbursts. But Plocharczyk finds the layers within this anger, visibly relaxing at home under the tender touch of his wife Roz (a charmingly overprotective Carrie Hardin) and illustrating that many of his character’s professional decisions have as much to do with supporting the family he loves as they do with maintaining artistic integrity."
